6023(DB10)is biaxially oriented polyethelene terephthalate (PET) film.

6023(DB10) has good electrical insulating property, mechanical property, dimensional stability and flame resistance.

1 Technical requirements

1.1  Appearance

The film is supplied in tape form. Its surface should be flat and smooth. The film should be free of defects such as creases, laceration, dents, bubbles, holes, and contaminations. Edges of tapes must show clean cuts.

1.2  Thickness range and tolerance

Special requirements for thickness can be settled upon negotiation between sellers and buyers.

Recommended nominal thickness is as follows: 75μm , 100μm.

Thickness tolerance: ±3%

1.3 Diameter, width and deviation

Nominal width: 32mm、34mm、36mm、38mm、40mm

Special requirements for width can be settled upon negotiation between sellers and buyers.  The film can be supplied in tape. The deviation of diameter and width is shown in Form 1

1.4 Splices and minimum length

There is no splice in each roll, the minimum length can be settled upon negotiation between sellers and buyers.

2 Testing methods

2.1   Shrinkage

The period of treatment is 30min, and the temperature of treatment is 150℃±2℃.

2.2  Other items are as per Chapter 5 of GB 13950-1992.

3   Inspection, marks, package and storage

3.1  The product with the same lot resins, operators, processing condition and specifications is defined as a batch.

3.2  Inspecting items are as per the stipulation of Chapter 1 of this file.

3.3  Storage life: 18months under the condition of the temperature of 35℃ from the date of dispatch.

3.4  Other items should be in accordance with the relative stipulation of Chapter 6 and 7 of standard GB/T 13950—1992.

4  Remarks

4.1  The film is suitable for the flyback transformer of TV and computer display.

4.2  Avoid creases, scratches, contamination of dust and oil while being slit and/or used.
